Jill recently graduated from college and is working at her first job. The recent Living Social Deal was a great way for her to be able to gift her mom with a family portrait. The Ducro family came in a couple weeks ago to get their portrait taken for a Christmas present for mom. Then mom came in for the viewing and to select her favorites. Here’s a few of their favorites.
When Anthony came in for his senior pictures, I knew it was mainly for his mom (as is the case with most senior boys). He told me he was into fighting and did a paid fight for the first time on his birthday. I thought that was pretty cool and suggested we do some shots with his gloves. Here are a few of my favs from the Gudz Family portrait session. Our goal was to create some beautiful Christmas cards, which we did. Sophia is an absolutely adorable two year old. We had a lot of fun capturing her festive photographs.

This is Sara & Jon. We took a little trip up to Dayton for these photos. So worth the drive. I just love taking pictures of little babies. They are so adorable. Teagan has always been such an expressive little guy. Teagan has the most beautiful baby blue eyes! I just love the one where he is looking up. The “chef” pictures were a lot of fun and probably his favorite since he was able to play with flour and utensils. Don’t miss out getting beautiful pictures of your baby through all the important milestones. Baby picture milestones are as follows: newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 12 month pictures. I guarentee you will not be sorry making the extra investment in your babies portraits.
I just received word from my husband that he actually spoke to my father-in-law. (see post from 2 days ago) Like I said before, that man is tough as nails! : ) This is nothing short of a miracle, and I do mean a miracle ordained by God. According to the hospital, I understand in the medical world they couldn’t believe he was still alive two days ago. I am sure it will be quite some time for recovery. The infection ran through his entire body and brain. The family has all flown in from Ohio, California, New Mexico and Hawaii to see him in Oregon. It’s so nice to have family. I believe God is healing more than just my father-in-law through this whole ordeal. Praise to God.
It was such a pleasure to finially meet Katelyn. A couple of years ago I took her brother, Taylor’s, Senior photographs and had quite an adventure. We had gone everywhere from their family home, a small airport he and his dad has flown out of to all over downtown Cincinnati. Now Katelyn was needing a business head shot for interviews amongst other things. She is studying to be a doctor and is leaning towards a pediatrician. What a beautiful young lady. I wish her well in her endeavors. She originally had a shot taken at the school and e-mailed it to her mom. Her mom, being the wise woman she is, told her it would be in her best interest to have it redone. This is one of those photographs that will follow you for many years to come. It is being used for the school graduating records etc.

I am so excited to finially have my new website up. My ideas have been dancing around in my head about this all year. Well, it has been a long time coming but I finially have my new wordpress website up. I decided to remove the “flash” website to make it more user friendly. Whether you have a slower computer, an ipad or an iphone, a wordpress site will be easier to load and view. One thing that I really like about this site is that it does not look like a typical wordpress site. My design ideas along with Chris Price, my wordpress guru, we came up with this. If you need help designing a website I would definitely contact Chris. He does such a great job. Not only is he great with wordpress, but is an artist/designer. He can work with you to come up with a rockin site that is easy breezy to maintain. He will even take the time to guide you through using it so you are comfortable with maintaining it on your own.
